Sharon is an engineer turned full-time mushroom grower and explorer. With 15 years in software engineering — including several years leading a SW team in defense tech — she chose a new mission aligned with her values: building reliable systems that help small farms thrive.

Kaylee

After over a decade of terminal disassembly of defenseless technology, Kaylee spent 15 years working in high reliability electronics design and test. Now she brings that experience to the mushroom farm, creating sustainable tools for growers everywhere.

Derick

A software engineer turned mushroom farmer with 15 years of tech expertise spanning computer vision, quantum computing research, and farm management software serving 200,000+ farmers. He splits his time between backend development and hands-on cultivation.

Bri

Bri has spent the last 8 years serving vulnerable communities and currently works in leadership as an advocate, mentor, and resource coordinator at a non-profit mental health organization. When she's not building connections, you'll find her bouldering, lost in a good book, or in the kitchen cooking and baking.

Guinevere is a lover of people and the outdoors, and brings her experiences as a trail crew leader and social worker to Demeter. She is excited to use her technical skills to keep the mushrooms happy, and her people skills to find them loving homes.
